أظهر إحصاء صادر عن شركة “نستله” وبيانات وطنية عن سلامة الغذاء اتساع نطاق سحب بعض دفعات منتجات تغذية الرضع التابعة للشركة إلى خارج أوروبا، ليصل إلى أفريقيا والأميركيتين وآسيا، بما في ذلك الصين والبرازيل وجنوب أفريقيا.
ولم يجر تأكيد أي أمراض حتى الآن في ما يتعلق بدفعات من منتجات عدة من حليب الأطفال استدعتها نستله، بسبب احتمال تلوثها بمادة السيريوليد، وهي مادة سامة يمكن أن تسبب الغثيان والقيء.
وأصدرت 37 دولة في الأقل، بما في ذلك معظم الدول الأوروبية، إضافة إلى أستراليا والبرازيل والصين والمكسيك وجنوب أفريقيا، تحذيرات صحية في شأن احتمال تلوث حليب الأطفال.
وتزيد عملية السحب من الضغوط على الشركة المصنعة لمنتجات شهيرة مثل “كيت كات” و”نسكافيه” ورئيسها التنفيذي الجديد فيليب نافراتيل الذي يسعى إلى إنعاش النمو من خلال مراجعة محفظة الشركة بعد الاضطرابات الإدارية، إذ انخفضت أسهم نستله بنحو 5.7 في المئة هذا الأسبوع.
وقالت وزارة الصحة البرازيلية أمس الأربعاء إن السحب إجراء وقائي، بعد اكتشاف المادة السامة في منتجات منشأها هولندا.
وقالت “نستله” في أستراليا إن الدفعات التي تقرر سحبها هناك تم تصنيعها في سويسرا، بينما قالت “نستله” بالصين إنها قررت سحب دفعات حليب الأطفال المستوردة من أوروبا.
وذكر إشعار صادر عن اللجنة الوطنية للمستهلكين في جنوب أفريقيا أن حليب الأطفال (نان) الذي تقرر سحبه تم إنتاجه في يونيو (حزيران) 2025، وتمتد صلاحيته نحو 18 شهراً، وأضافت اللجنة “تم تصديره أيضاً إلى ناميبيا وإسواتيني”.
وقالت وزارة الصحة النمسوية أول من أمس الثلاثاء إن عملية السحب طاولت أكثر من 800 منتج من أكثر من 10 مصانع، وهي الأكبر في تاريخ “نستله”، ولم يتمكن متحدث باسم الشركة من تأكيد ذلك.

No illnesses have been confirmed to date in connection with batches of several infant milk products recalled by Nestlé, due to potential contamination with cereulide, a toxic substance that can cause nausea and vomiting.
At least 37 countries, including most European nations, in addition to Australia, Brazil, China, Mexico, and South Africa, have issued health warnings regarding the possible contamination of infant milk.
The recall increases pressure on the manufacturer of popular products like KitKat and Nescafé and its new CEO, Philippe Navratil, who is seeking to revive growth by reviewing the company’s portfolio following management turmoil, as Nestlé’s shares fell by approximately 5.7 percent this week.
Brazil’s Ministry of Health said on Wednesday that the recall is a precautionary measure, after the toxic substance was detected in products originating from the Netherlands.
Nestlé in Australia said the batches decided to be recalled there were manufactured in Switzerland, while Nestlé in China said it decided to recall batches of infant milk imported from Europe.
A notice issued by South Africa’s National Consumer Commission stated that the infant milk (Nan) decided to be recalled was produced in June 2025, has a shelf life of about 18 months, and the commission added, “It was also exported to Namibia and Eswatini.”
The Austrian Ministry of Health said the day before yesterday, Tuesday, that the recall process involved more than 800 products from more than 10 factories, making it the largest in Nestlé’s history, a claim a company spokesperson was unable to confirm.
