أعلن وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي جدعون ساعر البدء بهجوم استباقي ضد إيران، وقال إنه تم فرض حال طوارئ فورية في مختل فأنحاء إسرائيل.
من جهته، أوضح الجيش الإسرائيلي أن صفارات الإنذار التي دوت في المناطق الإسرائيلية، أتت من الغارات الجوية كإنذار استباقي لإعداد السكان لاحتمال إطلاق صواريخ باتجاه إسرائيل.
كما أعلنت السلطات الإسرائيلية إغلاق المجال الجوي.
وأعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي إغلاق المدارس في أنحاء إسرائيل وإبلاغ السكان بالعمل من المنزل وحظر التجمعات العامة.

وأضاف كاتس: “نتيجة لذلك، من المتوقع شن هجوم صاروخي وهجوم بطائرات مسيرة على إسرائيل في المستقبل القريب”، وفق قوله.
من جانبها، أفادت “القناة 12” العبرية أن كاتس أعلن حالة طوارئ خاصة وفورية في جميع أنحاء إسرائيل.
