قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، السبت، إن رد بلاده باستهداف القواعد العسكرية الأمريكية في الشرق الأوسط “لا يستهدف دولا معينة وإنما يقتصر على المواقع العسكرية”.
جاء ذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي مع نظيره العراقي فؤاد حسين، وفق بيان للخارجية العراقية.
وقالت الخارجية العراقية إن عراقجي ” استعرض تطورات الوضع العسكري في إيران عقب الهجمات الأخيرة”.
وأكد على أن بلاده ستواصل الدفاع عن نفسها، مشيرا إلى أن الرد الإيراني “سيستهدف القواعد العسكرية الأمريكية الموجودة في المنطقة، وذلك في إطار ما وصفه بحق الدفاع عن النفس”.
وأوضح أن هذه الهجمات “لا تستهدف الدول المعنية، وإنما تقتصر على المواقع العسكرية”.
وشدد فؤاد حسين على موقف العراق “الرافض لتصاعد الأعمال العسكرية”، وفق البيان.
وأكد على أن الحرب “لا يمكن أن تكون وسيلة لحل المشكلات، وأن الحوار والتهدئة يمثلان السبيل الأمثل لمعالجة الأزمات بما يحفظ أمن واستقرار المنطقة”.
ويأتي الاتصال بالتزامن مع عدوان متواصل بدأته إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة، صباح السبت، ضد إيران، استهدف العاصمة طهران ومدن أصفهان وقم وكرج وكرمانشا، فيما أعلنت طهران بدء رد عسكري واسع النطاق بالصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة.
وأفادت وكالة فارس الإيرانية، السبت، بأن “4 قواعد أمريكية رئيسية في المنطقة تتعرض لهجمات صاروخية مكثفة من الحرس الثوري الإيراني”، في دول الإمارات والبحرين وقطر والكويت.
وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي ووسائل إعلام عبرية إن الهجوم استهداف عشرات الأهداف العسكرية، إضافة للقيادة الإيرانية، وعلى رأسها المرشد علي خامنئي والرئيس مسعود بزشكيان، دون ذكر نتائج الاستهداف.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Saturday that his country’s response to targeting US military bases in the Middle East “does not target specific countries, but is limited to military sites.”
This came during a phone call with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, according to a statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry said that Araqchi “reviewed the developments in the military situation in Iran following the recent attacks.”
He stressed that his country will continue to defend itself, noting that the Iranian response “will target American military bases in the region, within the framework of what he described as the right to self-defense.”
He explained that these attacks “do not target the countries concerned, but are limited to military sites.”
Fouad Hussein stressed Iraq’s position “rejecting the escalation of military actions,” according to the statement.
He stressed that war “cannot be a means to solve problems, and that dialogue and calm represent the best way to address crises in a way that preserves the security and stability of the region.”
The call comes in conjunction with an ongoing aggression launched by Israel and the United States, on Saturday morning, against Iran, targeting the capital, Tehran, and the cities of Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermansha, while Tehran announced the start of a military response andExpand the range with missiles and drones.
The Iranian Fars Agency reported, on Saturday, that “four major American bases in the region are subject to intense missile attacks from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard,” in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait.
The Israeli army and Hebrew media said that the attack targeted dozens of military targets, in addition to the Iranian leadership, led by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian, without mentioning the results of the targeting.
