قال مندوب إيران الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة سعيد إيرواني، إن الهجمات التي تشنها طهران في المنطقة تستهدف المنشآت التابعة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، مبينا أن بلاده لا تهاجم مصالح الدول المجاورة.
وشدد إيرواني في تصريحات للصحفيين بمقر الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك، الاثنين، على أن الولايات المتحدة هاجمت إيران للمرة الثانية بينما كانت العملية الدبلوماسية والتفاوض مستمرين.
ونفى وجود أي “تهديد إيراني وشيك” تجاه الولايات المتحدة قبل اندلاع الحرب عليها السبت الماضي، مؤكدا أن برنامج بلاده النووي “سلمي” تماما.
وأشار إلى أن الهجمات التي تتعرض لها بلاده تنتهك ميثاق الأمم المتحدة والقانون الدولي.
وأضاف: “إيران لا تريد الحرب أو التصعيد، لكنها ستستمر في الدفاع عن سيادتها بكل حزم”.
ورداً على سؤال حول الهجمات الإيرانية على القواعد الأمريكية في المنطقة، قال إيرواني: “نحن لا نستهدف مصالح الدول المجاورة، بل نستهدف مرافق وقواعد الولايات المتحدة، وهي خارج سلطة الدول التي تستضيفها”.
ومنذ السبت الماضي، تشن إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة عدوانا عسكريا على إيران، أودى بحياة مئات الأشخاص، على رأسهم المرشد الأعلى علي خامنئي ومسؤولون أمنيون.
وترد طهران بإطلاق صواريخ ومسيّرات تجاه إسرائيل، كما تشن هجمات على “قواعد ومصالح أمريكية بدول عربية”، بعضها خلفت قتلى وجرحى وألحق أضرارا بأعيان مدنية، بينها موانئ ومبان سكنية.
وبدأ العدوان على إيران رغم إحرازها تقدما بالمفاوضات مع الولايات المتحدة، وهذه هي المرة الثانية التي تنقلب فيها إسرائيل على طاولة التفاوض، وفي الأولى بدأت حرب يونيو/ حزيران 2025.

Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Saeed Irani, said that the attacks launched by Tehran in the region target facilities belonging to the United States of America, indicating that his country does not attack the interests of neighboring countries.
In statements to reporters at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Monday, Irani stressed that the United States attacked Iran for the second time while the diplomatic process and negotiations were continuing.
He denied the existence of any “imminent Iranian threat” towards the United States before the outbreak of war against it last Saturday, stressing that his country’s nuclear program is completely “peaceful.”
He pointed out that the attacks on his country violate the United Nations Charter and international law.
He added: “Iran does not want war or escalation, but it will continue to defend its sovereignty with all determination.”
In response to a question about Iranian attacks on American bases in the region, Irani said: “We do not target the interests of neighboring countries, but rather we target US facilities and bases, and they are outside the authority of the countries that host them.”
Since last Saturday, Israel and the United States have launched a military aggression against Iran, which has claimed the lives of hundreds of people, led by Supreme Leader Ali Khan.Mine and security officials.
