حذرت هيئة مراقبة تابعة للأمم المتحدة اليوم الأربعاء من أن “خطاب الكراهية العنصري” الذي يتبناه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترمب وغيره من القادة السياسيين، إضافة إلى تشديد إجراءات مكافحة الهجرة، يُؤججان انتهاكات خطرة لحقوق الإنسان.
وأعربت لجنة الأمم المتحدة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز العنصري عن قلقها البالغ إزاء تصاعد “خطاب الكراهية العنصري واستخدام لغة مُهينة وصور نمطية ضارة تستهدف المهاجرين واللاجئين وطالبي اللجوء في الولايات المتحدة”، مشيرة إلى أن قادة سياسيين وشخصيات عامة نافذة ورفيعة المستوى، بينهم الرئيس، وصفوا هذه الجماعات بأنها “مجرمة أو عبء”، محذرة من أن هذا الوضع “يؤجج التعصب وقد يحرض على التمييز العنصري وجرائم الكراهية”، داعية واشنطن إلى “تحمل المسؤولية وإجراء تحقيقات فعالة وشاملة ونزيهة” في كل الانتهاكات المشتبه بحدوثها، وأيضاً دعتها إلى إدانة التمييز العنصري وخطاب الكراهية علناً.
وأعربت اللجنة المؤلفة من 18 خبيراً مستقلاً مكلفين بمراقبة تنفيذ الدول لـ “الاتفاق الدولي للقضاء على العنصرية” عن قلقها البالغ إزاء “الاستخدام المنهجي للتنميط العنصري من عناصر ‘إدارة الهجرة والجمارك’ (آيس) وعناصر آخرين جرى نشرهم في إطار حملة ترمب لمكافحة الهجرة”، وذكرت أن استهداف “الأشخاص من أصول إسبانية – لاتينية أو أفريقية أو آسيوية، وعمليات التحقق التعسفية من الهوية، أديا إلى الاشتباه بتنفيذ السلطات اعتقالات واسعة النطاق للاجئين وطالبي لجوء ومهاجرين، وأشخاص يُنظر إليهم على أنهم كذلك”.
وأفاد التقرير بترحيل 675 ألف شخص من الولايات المتحدة منذ يناير (كانون الثاني) 2025، تاريخ عودة ترمب للسلطة، وكذلك دانت اللجنة “الاستخدام المفرط للقوة خلال عمليات مراقبة الهجرة”، مشيرة إلى مقتل ثمانية أشخاص منذ يناير العام الماضي خلال عمليات نفذتها “إدارة الهجرة والجمارك” أو أثناء احتجازهم لديها.

A United Nations monitoring body warned on Wednesday that the “racist hate speech” espoused by US President Donald Trump and other political leaders, in addition to tightening anti-immigration measures, are fueling serious human rights violations.
The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination expressed its deep concern about the rise of “racist hate speech and the use of insulting language and harmful stereotypes targeting immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the United States,” noting that influential and high-ranking political leaders and public figures, including the president, described these groups as “criminals or a burden,” warning that this situation “fuels intolerance and may incite racial discrimination and hate crimes,” calling on Washington to “take responsibility.” “Conduct effective, comprehensive and impartial investigations” into all suspected violations, and also called on it to publicly condemn racial discrimination and hate speech.
The committee, composed of 18 independent experts charged with monitoring States’ implementation of the International Compact to Eliminate Racism, expressed grave concern about “the systematic use of racial profiling by ICE agents” (ACE) and other elements deployed as part of Trump’s anti-immigration campaign, and stated that the targeting of “people of Hispanic, Latino, African, or Asian origins, and arbitrary identity checks, led to the authorities being suspected of carrying out large-scale arrests of refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants, and people perceived as such.”
The report stated that 675,000 people had been deported from the United States since January 2025, the date of Trump’s return to power. The committee also condemned “the excessive use of force during immigration control operations,” noting that eight people had been killed since January last year during operations carried out by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Administration or while they were in its custody.
