لقي 18 شخصا مصرعهم بحادث تدافع وقع السبت في محطة قطارات بالعاصمة الهندية نيودلهي.
وقالت السلطات الهندية إن تدافعا وقع بعد إلغاء رحلتين من محطة قطارات نيودلهي إلى مدينة براياغراج، حسبما أوردته وسائل إعلام محلية.
وأشارت السلطات إلى مصرع 18 شخصا جراء التدافع، بينهم 5 أطفال، وإصابة أكثر من 10 آخرين.
وأفاد شهود عيان أن الركاب الذين قدموا إلى المحطة لحضور مهرجان سيقام في براياغراج، لم يلتزموا بالتحذيرات بعدم تشكيل حشود.
وأعرب رئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي عن حزنه على ضحايا التدافع عبر حسابه على منصة “إكس”.
