قال رئيس صندوق الاستثمار المباشر الروسي كيريل ديمترييف، إن الشركات الأمريكية تكبدت خسائر تزيد عن 300 مليار دولار بسبب انسحابها من السوق الروسي، معربا عن أمله في إجراء محادثات إيجابية مع الجانب الأمريكي في السعودية.
جاء ذلك في تصريحات صحفية أدلى بها، الثلاثاء، في العاصمة السعودية الرياض، على هامش محادثات بين وفدين أمريكي وروسي لتحسين العلاقات المتوترة منذ حرب أوكرانيا.
ديمترييف شدد على أهمية المحادثات الجارية بين موسكو وواشنطن، مبينا أن “العالم بأسره يشاهد ما إذا كانت الولايات المتحدة وروسيا ستنجحان في تحسين علاقاتهما”.
وأضاف: “وجود علاقات أفضل بيننا سيجعل من الممكن حل المشاكل التي يواجهها العالم حاليا”.
وأوضح المسؤول الروسي أنه التقى ببعض أعضاء فريق الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب في الرياض قبل بدء المحادثات الرئيسية بين البلدين.
وأشار إلى أنه مسؤول عن الجانب الاقتصادي من المحادثات الروسية الأمريكية في الرياض، معربا عن أمله في إجراء مباحثات إيجابية.
وتابع: “نرى أن الرئيس الأمريكي ترامب نشط جدا في حل العديد من القضايا العالمية. لهذا نأمل في إجراء مفاوضات إيجابية مع الولايات المتحدة”.
ويضم الوفد الروسي المشارك في محادثات الرياض وزير الخارجية سيرغي لافروف، ومستشار السياسة الخارجية في الكرملين يوري أوشاكوف، ورئيس صندوق الاستثمار المباشر الروسي كيريل ديمترييف، فيما يضم الوفد الأمريكي وزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو، ومستشار الأمن القومي في البيت الأبيض مايك وولتز، والمبعوث الخاص للشرق الأوسط ستيف ويتكوف.
ومنذ 24 فبراير/ شباط 2022، تشن روسيا هجوما عسكريا على جارتها أوكرانيا تشترط لإنهائه تخلي كييف عن الانضمام إلى كيانات عسكرية غربية، وهو ما تعتبره كييف “تدخلا” في شؤونها.
