منعت الرئاسة الأميركية مراسلي الوكالة من دخول المكتب البيضاوي أو الطائرة الرئاسية بسبب “رفضها اتباع القانون”

وقال ترمب رداً على سؤال لأحد الصحافيين في مقر إقامته في مارالاغو بولاية فلوريدا “سنتركهم خارجاً إلى أن يوافقوا على أن هذا خليج أميركا”. وأضاف أن “وكالة (أسوشيتد برس) ترفض اتباع القانون”.
ومنعت الرئاسة الأميركية مراسلي “أسوشيتد برس” التي تعد أحد أركان الصحافة في الولايات المتحدة من دخول المكتب البيضاوي في البيت الأبيض أو الطائرة الرئاسية (إير فورس وان) لأن الوكالة لم تمتثل للأمر التنفيذي الذي وقعه ترمب وغير بموجبه اسم خليج المكسيك إلى خليج أميركا.
وفي مذكرة تحريرية، أوضحت “أسوشيتد برس” أن المرسوم الذي غير بموجبه ترمب اسم خليج المكسيك تنحصر صلاحيته في الولايات المتحدة ولم تعترف به المكسيك ولا الدول الأخرى أو المنظمات الدولية.
وأضافت الوكالة أنها “ستشير إليه باسمه الأصلي مع أخذ الاسم الجديد الذي اختاره ترمب في الاعتبار”. وأمس، اغتنم ترمب الفرصة لمهاجمة عمل صحافيي الوكالة.
وقال الملياردير الجمهوري، “كما تعلمون، كانت وكالة (أسوشيتد برس) مخطئة تماماً في شأن الانتخابات، وفي شأن ترمب، وفي شأن معاملة ترمب، وفي شأن أشياء أخرى تتعلق بترمب وبالجمهوريين وبالمحافظين”.
وخلال فترة ولايته الأولى، وصف ترمب الصحافة بأنها “عدو الشعب”. ومنذ عودته إلى السلطة، صعد ترمب من هجماته على وسائل الإعلام الأميركية الكبرى.
