قال الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون إن باريس ستستضيف غدًا محادثات بشأن أوكرانيا بمشاركة بعض الدول الأوروبية ودول أخرى.
جاء ذلك خلال لقاء أجراها ماكرون الثلاثاء مع الصحفيين الثلاثاء، حيث تناول تطورات الحرب الروسية الأوكرانية.
واعتبر ماكرون أن القمة الأوكرانية، التي عُقدت الاثنين في باريس، كانت خطوة مهمة لمناقشة الإجراءات المستقبلية المتعلقة بالحرب، وأنها لا تهدف إلى اتخاذ موقف تجاه الخطوات التي تقوم بها الولايات المتحدة.
وأشار الرئيس الفرنسي إلى أنه أجرى محادثة هاتفية مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب قبل القمة وبعدها.
وأعرب ماكرون عن اعتقاده بأن الولايات المتحدة لا تسعى إلى الانسحاب من حلف شمال الأطلسي (ناتو).
وأكد ماكرون أن ترامب قد يكون قادرًا على إعادة إطلاق حوار مفيد مع الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين.
وأشار إلى أن فرنسا ستستضيف غدًا محادثات بشأن أوكرانيا، بمشاركة بعض الدول الأوروبية ودول أخرى.
وفي وقت تتزايد فيه المفاوضات الدبلوماسية بين روسيا والولايات المتحدة بشأن تحقيق السلام في أوكرانيا، تؤكد الدول الأوروبية أن “السلام في أوكرانيا لا يمكن تحقيقه بدون أوروبا”.
وفي هذا السياق، استضافت باريس قمة أمنية استثنائية، الاثنين 17 فبراير/شباط، حضرتها دول أوروبية بارزة.
ومن ناحية أخرى، التقى الثلاثاء مسؤولون رفيعو المستوى من الولايات المتحدة وروسيا في المملكة العربية السعودية بشأن الحرب بين روسيا وأوكرانيا.
ومنذ 24 فبراير/ شباط 2022، تشن روسيا هجوما عسكريا على جارتها أوكرانيا تشترط لإنهائه تخلي كييف عن الانضمام لكيانات عسكرية غربية، وهو ما تعتبره كييف “تدخلا” في شؤونها.
