وجّه محمد صلاح رسالة إلى زملائه في نادي ليفربول، عقب الفوز على نادي ساوثهامبتون بنتيجة 1/3، في مباراة احتضنها ملعب “أنفيلد”، السبت، ضمن مباريات الأسبوع الـ28 من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز (البريميرليغ).
وكان النجم المصري قد سجّل هدفين من أهداف “الريدز” الثلاثة، وذلك عند الدقيقتين 54 و88 من ركلتي جزاء.
في تصريحات نقلها الموقع الرسمي لنادي ليفربول، قال صلاح: “كانت مباراة صعبة، كان لدى ساوثهامبتون خطة لعب جيدة، وقد نجحت خطتهم في الشوط الأول، ولكنني سعيد لأننا تمكّنا من العودة في الشوط الثاني والفوز بالمباراة”.
وأضاف: “لقد شعرت بالإحباط بعض الشيء، كان المدير الفني أرني سلوت يحاول مهاجمتنا في غرفة الملابس، لكن هذا أمر ضروري في بعض الأحيان، لأن الشوط الأول كان سيئاً، وكنا بطيئين في اللعب، وفي الدقيقة الأخيرة من الشوط تمكّن المنافس من التقدم بالنتيجة، لكننا الآن أكثر خبرة، ويمكننا التعامل مع هذا الموقف، وأنا سعيد لأننا نجحنا في ذلك”.
وحذر محمد صلاح زملاءه، قائلاً: “إذا كنت تريد الفوز بدوري أبطال أوروبا أو الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، فعليك الفوز بهذا النوع من المباريات”.
وكان صلاح قد تقدم على سلم ترتيب هدّافي مسابقة البريميرليغ تاريخياً، إذ أصبح في المركز الخامس برصيد 184 هدفاً، بالتساوي مع اللاعب السابق سيرخيو أغويرو.
قال النجم المصري حول ذلك: “كنتُ أعرف الرقم القياسي لكنني لم أفكر فيه أثناء اللعب، إنه رقم قياسي جيد بأن أتعادل مع سيرجيو، إنه لاعب رائع، وكان أسطورة هنا في الدوري، لذا أنا سعيد بذلك وسعيد بالفوز أيضاً”.
