قال المتحدث باسم الكرملين دميتري بيسكوف، الاثنين، إن التحضيرات متواصلة لإجراء محادثة هاتفية بين الرئيسين الروسي فلاديمير بوتين والأمريكي دونالد ترامب الثلاثاء.
جاء ذلك في معرض إجابة بيسكوف على أسئلة الصحفيين حول قضايا راهنة في العاصمة موسكو.
وردا على سؤال بشأن تصريح الرئيس الأمريكي ترامب بأنه سيجري محادثة هاتفية مع الرئيس الروسي بوتين الثلاثاء، أجاب بيسكوف: “نعم هذا صحيح، يجري الإعداد لمثل هذا الاتصال يوم الثلاثاء”.
إلا أن بيسكوف امتنع عن الإجابة على سؤال حول القضايا التي ستتم مناقشتها خلال الاتصال.
وفي تعليقه على إغلاق إذاعة صوت أميركا وبعض المؤسسات الإعلامية في الولايات المتحدة، أكد بيسكوف أن “هذا قرار سيادي للولايات المتحدة”.
وأعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، الأحد، أنه سيجري اتصالا هاتفيا مع نظيره الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، الثلاثاء، لبحث مستجدات المفاوضات الجارية بشأن إنهاء الحرب الروسية الأوكرانية.
وقبل نحو أسبوعين، اقترح الرئيس الأمريكي هدنة بين روسيا وأوكرانيا لمدة شهر، الأمر الذي وافقت عليه كييف خلال محادثات أمريكية أوكرانية في مدينة جدة السعودية الثلاثاء الفائت.
ومنذ 24 فبراير/ شباط 2022، تشن روسيا هجوما عسكريا على جارتها أوكرانيا وتشترط لإنهائه “تخلي” كييف عن الانضمام لكيانات عسكرية غربية، وهو ما تعتبره كييف “تدخلا” في شؤونها.
