قمعت الشرطة الإسرائيلية، الأحد، مئات المتظاهرين في مدينة القدس الذين خرجوا احتجاجا على إقالة المستشارة القضائية للحكومة ورئيس جهاز “الشاباك”.
وقالت هيئة البث الرسمية إنّ الشرطة الإسرائيلية قمعت متظاهرين في مدينة القدس، بدعوى محاولتهم اختراق الحاجز الأمني، للوصول إلى مقر إقامة رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو.
وأشارت الهيئة إلى أنّ الشرطة اعتقلت 3 متظاهرين على الأقل بتهمة “إثارة الشغب”.
وشهدت المدينة مناوشات بين قوات الشرطة والمتظاهرين الغاضبين، بحسب الهيئة.
وفي وقت سابق الأحد، صوتت الحكومة الإسرائيلية، بالإجماع لصالح حجب الثقة عن مستشارتها القضائية غالي بهاراف ميارا.
فيما كشفت صحيفة “هآرتس” أن وزير العدل ياريف ليفين، قال في اقتراح حجب الثقة المكون من 86 صفحة إن “مكتب المشورة القضائية تحول إلى سلطة سياسية مستبدة وعنيفة”.
ورغم تصويت الحكومة على إقالة المستشارة القضائية، إلا أنه يتعين عليها قبول رأي اللجنة الاستشارية (لجنة تعيين كبار المسؤولين) التي أوصت بتعيين ميارا، من أجل مواصلة الدفع نحو إقالتها، وفق المصدر ذاته.

وفي وقت سابق الأحد، تظاهر آلاف الإسرائيليين أمام مقر الحكومة في القدس الغربية احتجاجا على سعي الأخيرة لإقالة المستشارة القضائية للحكومة ورئيس الشاباك.
