دعت الصين، الخميس، إلى إجراء تحقيق شامل في إطلاق الجيش الإسرائيلي النار أثناء تواجد وفد من الدبلوماسيين قرب مخيم جنين للاجئين شمالي الضفة الغربية.
وقال متحدث وزارة الخارجية الصينية ماو نينغ، في مؤتمر صحفي، إن بيكين تراقب الحادثة عن كثب وتعارض أي عمل يهدد سلامة وأمن الموظفين الدبلوماسيين.
ودعا ماو، إلى إجراء تحقيق شامل، وشدد على ضرورة منع تكرار مثل هذه الحالات.
وأكد أن جميع الأطراف، لا سيما إسرائيل، يجب أن تتجنب الخطوات التي من شأنها تصعيد التوتر.
والأربعاء، أطلق الجيش الإسرائيلي النار أثناء زيارة وفد مكوّن من 35 دبلوماسياً عربيا وغربيا إلى مخيم جنين للاجئين في الضفة الغربية المحتلة، رغم أنها كانت منسَّقة معه.
وتعد إسرائيل طرفا في اتفاقية فيينا للعلاقات الدبلوماسية لعام 1961، والتي تنص على ضمان أمن الدبلوماسيين الأجانب جميعا.
ومنذ 21 يناير/ كانون الثاني 2025، يواصل الجيش الإسرائيلي عدوانا عسكريا شمالي الضفة، استهله بمدينة جنين ومخيمها وبلدات في محيطهما، ثم وسّعه إلى مدينة طولكرم في 27 من الشهر نفسه.
وبالتوازي مع حرب الإبادة الجماعية بقطاع غزة، صعّد الجيش الإسرائيلي والمستوطنون اعتداءاتهم بالضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، ما أدى إلى مقتل 969 فلسطينيا على الأقل، وإصابة نحو 7 آلاف آخرين، واعتقال ما يزيد عن 17 ألف شخص، وفق معطيات فلسطينية.
وترتكب إسرائيل بدعم أمريكي مطلق، منذ 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2023، إبادة جماعية بغزة، خلفت أكثر من 175 ألف فلسطيني بين قتيل وجريح معظمهم أطفال ونساء، وما يزيد على 11 ألف مفقود، بجانب مئات آلاف النازحين.

China on Thursday called for a comprehensive investigation into the Israeli army’s firing during the presence of a delegation of diplomats near the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a press conference that Beijing is closely monitoring the incident and opposes any action that threatens the safety and security of diplomatic personnel.
Mao called for a thorough investigation and stressed the need to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
He affirmed that all parties, especially Israel, must avoid steps that would escalate tensions.
On Wednesday, the Israeli army opened fire during a visit by a delegation of 35 Arab and Western diplomats to the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, despite it being coordinated with them.
Israel is a party to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, which stipulates ensuring the security of all foreign diplomats.
Since January 21, 2025, the Israeli army has continued a military aggression in the northern West Bank, which began in the city of Jenin and its camp and towns in its vicinity, and then expanded to the city of Tulkarm on the 27th of the same month.
In parallel with the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, which has led to the killing of at least 969 Palestinians, the injury of about 7,000 others, and the arrest of more than 17,000 people, according to Palestinian data.
With absolute American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in more than 175,000 Palestinians killed and injured, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people.
