أعلن الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، الأحد، أنه كلّف وفدا للمشاركة في مفاوضات السلام التي ستُعقد غداً في إسطنبول، بهدف إنهاء الحرب بين روسيا وأوكرانيا.
وذكر زيلينسكي في منشور على تلغرام، أنه عقد في هذا الشأن اجتماعا مع وزيري الدفاع والخارجية الأوكرانيين ومسؤولي الأجهزة الأمنية.
وأكد أنه وأعضاء حكومته يعملون من أجل حماية استقلال أوكرانيا، مضيفاً أنه حدد مواقف بلاده قبل اجتماع الغد في إسطنبول.
وتابع: “مواقفنا ومطالبنا تتمثل في وقف إطلاق نار كامل وغير مشروط وإطلاق سراح المعتقلين وعودة الأطفال المختطفين”.
ولفت إلى أن الوفد الأوكراني إلى مفاوضات إسطنبول سيكون برئاسة وزير الدفاع رستم عمروف.
وفي 15 و16 مايو/ أيار الفائت، استضافت إسطنبول مفاوضات سلام بين روسيا وأوكرانيا، انتهت بالتوصل إلى اتفاق على تبادل ألفي أسير بين البلدين.
ومنذ 24 فبراير/ شباط 2022، تشن روسيا هجوما عسكريا على جارتها أوكرانيا وتشترط لإنهائه تخلي كييف عن الانضمام لكيانات عسكرية غربية، وهو ما تعتبره كييف “تدخلا” في شؤونها.
