نفذت السلطات الإيرانية حكم الإعدام، الأربعاء، بحق مواطن لها بتهمة التجسس لصالح جهاز الاستخبارات الخارجية الإسرائيلي (الموساد).
أفادت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية الرسمية إرنا، الأربعاء، أن “بابك شهبازي، الذي تعاون مع النظام الصهيوني في مجالات الاستخبارات والتجسس والأمن، وتبادل المعلومات مع أفراد تابعين لهذا النظام، أُعدم صباح اليوم بعد أن أيدت المحكمة العليا الحكم”.
وتم إلقاء القبض على شهبازي في يناير/ كانون الثاني 2024 بعد اعتقال عميل الموساد إسماعيل فكري، واعترافاته أثناء الاستجواب، بحسب المصدر ذاته.
وأضافت الوكالة أن شهبازي عرض بيع معلومات عن أماكن وتحركات مسؤولين حكوميين رفيعي المستوى بعد لقائه بإسماعيل فكري.
وأوضحت أن شهبازي طلب إقامة دائمة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية له ولعائلته، بالإضافة إلى 120 مليون دولار نقداً أو بعملة مشفرة.
وأشارت إلى أن شهبازي وفكري تواصلا في فبراير/ شباط 2024 بناءً على طلب ضابط في الموساد، مع إسرائيليين عبر سكايب، ونقلوا إليهم معلومات استخباراتية.
وكانت إيران أعدمت فكري في منتصف يونيو/ حزيران الماضي.
