توجه وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبد العاطي، الأربعاء، إلى تركيا في زيارة يبحث خلالها العلاقات الثنائية وقضايا إقليمية ودولية.
وقالت الخارجية المصرية في بيان: “توجه د. بدر عبد العاطي وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشؤون المصريين بالخارج يوم الأربعاء إلى تركيا”.
وأوضحت أن الزيارة “تستهدف بحث سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين مصر وجمهورية تركيا الشقيقة، والتشاور حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية محل الاهتمام المشترك”.
ومن المقرر أن يلتقي عبد العاطي “عددا من كبار المسؤولين في الحكومة التركية، وسيترأس مع نظيره التركي هاكان فيدان أعمال اجتماع مجموعة التخطيط المشتركة بين وزارتي خارجية البلدين”، وفقا للوزارة.
وأضافت أن الاجتماع “يهدف إلى متابعة تنفيذ ما تم الاتفاق عليه بين قيادتي البلدين الصديقين”.
كما يرمي إلى “تطوير آليات التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية والاستثمارية والثقافية، بما يعكس الزخم المتنامي الذي تشهده العلاقات المصرية–التركية في المرحلة الراهنة”، بحسب البيان.
ولم تتطرق الوزارة إلى مدة زيارة عبد العاطي إلى تركيا.
وعشية الزيارة، أشاد سفير أنقرة في القاهرة صالح موطلو شن، بتطور العلاقات التركية مع مصر، بحسب بيان للسفارة التركية بمصر.
وقال موطلو شن مساء الثلاثاء إن “الزيارات المتبادلة بين الوزراء تنعكس على تطور العلاقات بين تركيا ومصر”.
ولفت إلى أن العلاقات السياسية بين تركيا ومصر بدأت تكتسب زخما في نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني 2022، فيما عادت إلى مسارها الطبيعي بسرعة مع إعادة تعيين السفراء منتصف عام 2023.
وأضاف: “كان أبرز مؤشر ملموس على ذلك هو إنشاء مجلس التعاون الاستراتيجي رفيع المستوى بين تركيا ومصر في فبراير (شباط) 2024، برئاسة الرئيس رجب طيب أردوغان والرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي”.
و”أصبح المجلس بمثابة الهيئة الرئيسية التي تنظم وتوجه جميع أشكال التعاون بين البلدين”، بحسب موطلو شن.

Furthermore, according to the statement, it seeks “to develop mechanisms for bilateral cooperation in various political, economic, investment, and cultural fields, reflecting the growing momentum in Egyptian-Turkish relations at the current stage.”
The Ministry did not specify the duration of Abdel Atty’s visit to Turkey.
On the eve of the visit, Ankara’s Ambassador to Cairo, Salih Mutlu Şen, praised the development of Turkey’s relations with Egypt, according to a statement from the Turkish Embassy in Egypt.
On Tuesday evening, Mutlu Şen stated that “reciprocal visits between ministers are reflected in the development of relations between Turkey and Egypt.”
He pointed out that political relations between Turkey and Egypt began to gain momentum in November 2022, and returned to their normal course swiftly with the reappointment of ambassadors in mid-2023.
He added: “The most prominent tangible indicator of this was the establishment of the Turkey-Egypt High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in February 2024, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.”
According to Mutlu Şen, “The Council has become the main body regulating and directing all forms of cooperation between the two countries.”
