أعلنت منظمة الأمم المتحدة، الثلاثاء، أن أكثر من 16 ألفا و500 مريض فلسطيني لا يزالون بحاجة إلى رعاية منقذة للحياة خارج قطاع غزة.
وقال المتحدث باسم الأمم المتحدة ستيفان دوجاريك، خلال مؤتمر صحفي، إنه مع حلول فصل الشتاء بتحدياته التي تواجه الفلسطينيين المنهكين بقطاع غزة، تعمل الأمم المتحدة وشركاؤها في المجال الإنساني بلا كلل لتوسيع نطاق تقديم المساعدة للمحتاجين، بمن فيهم الأطفال.
وأشار دوجاريك إلى تقديم الآلاف من المواد الأساسية للأشخاص الذين عانوا بشدة على مدار العامين الماضيين نتيجة الحرب في غزة، وشملت هذه المواد الأحذية والملابس والبطانيات والمناشف، إلى جانب توزيع الإمدادات الأساسية الأخرى.
وذكر أنه تم أيضا توزيع 160 “خيمة للأنشطة” نهاية نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني الماضي، “مما مكن آلاف الأطفال من الوصول إلى أنشطة الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي وخدمات إدارة الحالات”.
وتطرق دوجاريك إلى الجانب الصحي، مؤكدا أن فريقا من منظمة الصحة العالمية قاد عملية إجلاء طبي يوم الاثنين لـ18 مريضا و54 مرافقا لهم من غزة لتلقي العلاج في الخارج.
وشدد على أنه “لا يزال أكثر من 16 ألفا و500 مريض بحاجة إلى رعاية منقذة للحياة خارج قطاع غزة”.
وتواصل إسرائيل خرق اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الساري منذ 10 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الماضي في غزة، ما قتل وأصاب مئات الفلسطينيين.
كما تمنع إسرائيل إدخال قدر كاف من الغذاء والدواء والمستلزمات الطبية إلى غزة، حيث يعيش نحو 2.4 مليون فلسطيني في أوضاع لاإنسانية كارثية.
وكان يُفترض أن ينهي هذا الاتفاق حرب إبادة جماعية بدأتها إسرائيل بغزة في 8 أكتوبر 2023، وخلّفت أكثر من 70 ألف قتيل و170 ألف جريح فلسطينيين، معظمهم أطفال ونساء.

On Tuesday, the United Nations announced that more than 16,500 Palestinian patients still need life-saving care outside the Gaza Strip.
During a press conference, UN Spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said that as winter brings its challenges to the exhausted Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the UN and its humanitarian partners are working tirelessly to scale up the delivery of aid to those in need, including children.
Dujarric pointed to the delivery of thousands of essential items to people who have suffered severely over the past two years due to the war in Gaza. These items included shoes, clothing, blankets, and towels, alongside the distribution of other basic supplies.
He mentioned that 160 “activity tents” were also distributed at the end of November last year, “enabling thousands of children to access mental health activities, psychosocial support, and case management services.”
Dujarric touched on the health aspect, confirming that a team from the World Health Organization led a medical evacuation on Monday for 18 patients and 54 of their companions from Gaza to receive treatment abroad.
He stressed that “more than 16,500 patients still need life-saving care outside the Gaza Strip.”
Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in effect since last October 10 in Gaza, killing and wounding hundreds of Palestinians.
Israel also prevents the entry of sufficient food, medicine, and medical supplies into Gaza, where about 2.4 million Palestinians live in catastrophic, inhumane conditions.
This agreement was supposed to end a genocidal war that Israel launched against Gaza on October 8, 2023, which has resulted in more than 70,000 Palestinian deaths and 170,000 injuries, the majority of whom are children and women.
