قال نائب وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي ريابكوف، إن بلاده تعارض وقفا مؤقتا لإطلاق النار في أوكرانيا، معتبرا أن “هذا الخيار لن يساهم في إحراز تقدم لحل الأزمة القائمة”.
جاء ذلك في تصريحات أدلاها، الاثنين، خلال فعالية دولية في العاصمة موسكو.
وأضاف ريابكوف أن روسيا تؤيد وقف القتال في إطار اتفاق “يضمن حل المشكلات مثل الأسباب الجذرية للأزمة، ويكفل البنية الدستورية للاتحاد الروسي”.
واتهم المسؤول الروسي، دولا (لم يسمها) بمحاولة تقويض جهود وقف الحرب وإخراجها عن مسارها، داعيا الإدارة الأمريكية إلى مواجهة ذلك بشكل أكثر فاعلية.
وأشار إلى أن أوكرانيا والدول الأوروبية تحاول تقويض الحوار بين موسكو وواشنطن، مؤكدا على أنهم سيواصلون الحوار مع الولايات المتحدة من أجل إيجاد حل للحرب الأوكرانية.
وتأتي تصريحات ريابكوف في أعقاب دعوة المستشار الألماني فريدريش ميرتس، مؤخرا، الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين إلى وقف القتال في أوكرانيا خلال عيد الميلاد.
ومنذ 24 فبراير/ شباط 2022 تشن روسيا هجوما عسكريا على جارتها أوكرانيا وتشترط لإنهائه تخلي كييف عن الانضمام إلى كيانات عسكرية غربية، وهو ما تعتبره كييف “تدخلا” في شؤونها.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said that his country opposes a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine, considering that “this option will not contribute to making progress in resolving the existing crisis.”
He made these statements on Monday during an international event in the capital, Moscow.
Ryabkov added that Russia supports a cessation of fighting within the framework of an agreement “that guarantees resolving issues such as the root causes of the crisis and secures the constitutional structure of the Russian Federation.”
The Russian official accused unspecified countries of attempting to undermine efforts to stop the war and derail them, calling on the US administration to confront this more effectively.
He pointed out that Ukraine and European countries are trying to undermine the dialogue between Moscow and Washington, stressing that they will continue the dialogue with the United States to find a solution to the Ukrainian war.
Ryabkov’s statements come in the wake of recent calls by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, urging Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop fighting in Ukraine during Christmas.
Since February 24, 2022, Russia has been waging a military attack on its neighbor Ukraine, conditioning its end on Kyiv abandoning its pursuit of joining Western military entities, which Kyiv considers “interference” in its affairs.
