نشر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، السبت، أول صورة للرئيس الفنزويلي نيكولاس مادورو، بعد احتجازه في العاصمة كاراكاس ونقله إلى الولايات المتحدة.
جاء ذلك في منشور لترامب، على منصة “تروث سوشيال” الأمريكية، بشأن اعتقال ونقل مادورو.
ولم يعلق ترامب بأي شيء على منشوره، الذي يظهر مادورو يحمل زجاجة ماء وعيناه معصوبتان على متن حاملة الطائرات الأمريكية “يو إس إس إيو جيما”.
وفي وقت سابق السبت، شهدت كاراكاس ومدن فنزويلية أخرى انفجارات، تزامنا مع تحليق منخفض لطائرات حربية.
ونقل إعلام أمريكي عن مسؤولين في إدارة ترامب، أن الأخير أمر بضرب بعض الأهداف في فنزويلا بما فيها منشآت عسكرية.
ولاحقا أعلن ترامب أن بلاده شنت عملية واسعة النطاق ضد فنزويلا، أسفرت عن اعتقال رئيسها مادورو وزوجته واقتيادهما إلى خارج البلاد.

أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، السبت، أن الولايات المتحدة ستواصل إدارة الأمور في فنزويلا حتى تحقيق انتقال آمن ومناسب ومعقول للسلطة هناك.
جاء ذلك في مؤتمر صحفي، تطرق فيه إلى الهجمات الأمريكية على العاصمة الفنزويلية كاراكاس، واحتجاز الرئيس نيكولاس مادورو وزوجته.
وأوضح ترامب، أن مادورو وزوجته، على متن سفينة قادمة إلى نيويورك.
وأضاف أنه سيتم اتخاذ قرار بشأن محاكمته إما في نيويورك أو ميامي.
وأشار ترامب، إلى أنهم سيُدخلون شركات النفط الأمريكية العملاقة إلى فنزويلا.
وقال: “مع استراتيجيتنا الجديدة للأمن القومي لن تكون الهيمنة الأمريكية في نصف الكرة الغربي موضع تساؤل مرة أخرى”.

On Saturday, US President Donald Trump published the first photo of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, following his detention in the capital Caracas and transfer to the United States.
This came in a post by Trump on the American platform “Truth Social,” regarding Maduro’s arrest and transfer.
Trump did not add any comment to his post, which shows Maduro holding a water bottle with his eyes blindfolded aboard the US aircraft carrier “USS Iwo Jima.”
Earlier Saturday, explosions rocked Caracas and other Venezuelan cities, coinciding with low-altitude flights by military aircraft.
American media quoted officials in the Trump administration stating that the latter had ordered strikes on some targets in Venezuela, including military facilities.
Subsequently, Trump announced that his country had launched a large-scale operation against Venezuela, resulting in the arrest of its president, Maduro, and his wife, and their removal from the country.
In a related statement
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the United States would continue to manage affairs in Venezuela until a safe, appropriate, and reasonable transfer of power is achieved there.
This came during a press conference in which he addressed the US attacks on the Venezuelan capital Caracas and the detention of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife.
Trump clarified that Maduro and his wife are aboard a ship heading to New York.
He added that a decision regarding his trial will be made, either in New York or Miami.
Trump pointed out that they will bring major American oil companies into Venezuela.
He said: “With our new national security strategy, American hegemony in the Western Hemisphere will not be questioned again.”
