أعلنت وكالة أنباء نشطاء حقوق الإنسان الإيرانية المستقلة “هرانا”، السبت، ارتفاع عدد قتلى الاحتجاجات التي تشهدها البلاد منذ نحو أسبوعين، إلى 65 شخصا.
وبحسب تقرير نشرته “هرانا” التي تتخذ من الولايات المتحدة مقرا لها، فإن الاحتجاجات التي دخلت يومها الـ 13، امتدت إلى 31 محافظة في إيران.
وأضاف التقرير أن الاحتجاجات شهدت حتى اليوم مقتل 50 متظاهرا، بينهم 7 دون سن الـ 18 عاما، إضافة إلى 15 عنصرا من قوات الأمن.
وأشار إلى توقيف ألفين و311 متظاهرا في عموم البلاد، على خلفية الاحتجاجات.
كما أسفرت الاحتجاجات، بحسب التقرير نفسه، عن إصابة العشرات، ومعظمها حالات ناجمة عن شظايا وعيارات بلاستيكية.
ولم تصدر السلطات الإيرانية أي بيان رسمي حتى الآن بشأن أعداد القتلى أو الجرحى في الاحتجاجات.
وكانت حصيلة ضحايا الاحتجاجات في البلاد بلغت حتى مساء أمس الجمعة 42 قتيلا، بحسب “هرانا”.
وبدأ التجار في السوق الكبير بالعاصمة الإيرانية طهران في 28 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول الماضي احتجاجات على التراجع الحاد في قيمة الريال الإيراني أمام العملات الأجنبية وتفاقم المشكلات الاقتصادية، وتمددت الاحتجاجات لاحقا إلى العديد من المدن.
وأقر الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان بحالة الاستياء الشعبي، مؤكدا أن الحكومة مسؤولة عن المشاكل الاقتصادية الراهنة، وحث المسؤولين على عدم إلقاء اللوم على جهات خارجية مثل الولايات المتحدة.

The independent Iranian human rights activist news agency “Hrana” announced on Saturday that the death toll from the protests that have been ongoing in the country for nearly two weeks has risen to 65 people.
According to a report published by “Hrana,” which is based in the United States, the protests, now in their 13th day, have spread to 31 provinces in Iran.
The report added that the protests have so far resulted in the deaths of 50 demonstrators, including 7 under the age of 18, in addition to 15 security force members.
It also indicated that 2,311 demonstrators have been arrested nationwide in connection with the protests.
Furthermore, the same report stated that the protests have left dozens injured, with most injuries resulting from shrapnel and plastic bullets.
The Iranian authorities have not issued any official statement so far regarding the number of deaths or injuries in the protests.
According to “Hrana,” the death toll from the protests in the country had reached 42 by Friday evening.
The protests began when merchants in the Grand Bazaar of the Iranian capital, Tehran, on December 28 last year, demonstrated against the sharp decline in the value of the Iranian rial against foreign currencies and the worsening economic problems. The protests later expanded to many other cities.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian acknowledged the state of popular discontent, emphasizing that the government is responsible for the current economic problems, and urged officials not to blame external parties such as the United States.
