قال النجم العالمي ويل سميث، السبت، أن التكنولوجيا، مهما بلغت من تطور، لا يمكن أن تحل محل الإنسان أو تجربته العاطفية.
وشدد على أن جوهر أي تقدم تقني حقيقي يكمن في قدرته على خدمة “القصة الإنسانية” وتعزيز التواصل بين البشر، لا في استبدال المشاعر أو القيم.
جاء ذلك خلال جلسة بعنوان “من القطب إلى المدن المستدامة”، ضمن فعاليات النسخة الرابعة من قمة المليار متابع، والتي تستضيفها الإمارات على مدار 3 أيام وتختتم أعمالها الأحد، في أبراج الإمارات، ومركز دبي المالي العالمي، ومتحف المستقبل، بدبي، تحت شعار “المحتوى الهادف”.
وقال سميث، إن “الخوف هو العدو الأكبر للأحلام، وإن القدرة على تقبّل عدم الارتياح هي المفتاح لاكتشاف الجمال والسعادة، سواء في الحياة أو في العمل أو في بناء المستقبل”.
ولفت إلى أن “المجتمعات المستقبلية يجب أن تُبنى حول الإنسان والعلاقات الاجتماعية، لا حول التكنولوجيا وحدها”.
والجمعة، انطلقت فعاليات النسخة الرابعة من قمة المليار متابع 2026، وتستمر 3 أيام، تحت شعار “المحتوى الهادف”، وهي أكبر قمة عالمية في اقتصاد صناعة المحتوى.
وتشهد القمة، التي يرعاها حاكم دبي محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، حضور يتجاوز 30 ألف شخص، ومشاركة أكثر من 15 ألفا من مبدعي صناعة المحتوى وأهم المؤثرين العرب والعالميين، وأكثر من 500 متحدث يتابعهم ما يزيد على 3.5 مليارات متابع.
بينما تستضيف القمة 150 رئيساً تنفيذيا وخبيرا عالميا ضمن جلساتها وحواراتها، وتقدم أكثر من 580 جلسة رئيسة وطاولة مستديرة وحوارا تفاعليا وورشة عمل.

Global star Will Smith said on Saturday that no matter how advanced technology becomes, it cannot replace humans or their emotional experiences.
He emphasized that the essence of any genuine technological advancement lies in its ability to serve the “human story” and enhance communication between people, not in replacing emotions or values.
These remarks came during a session titled “From the Pole to Sustainable Cities” as part of the fourth edition of the Billion Followers Summit, hosted by the UAE over three days and concluding on Sunday at the Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future in Dubai, under the theme “Meaningful Content.”
Smith said that “fear is the greatest enemy of dreams,” and that the ability to embrace discomfort is the key to discovering beauty and happiness, whether in life, work, or building the future.
He pointed out that “future societies must be built around people and social relationships, not around technology alone.”
On Friday, the fourth edition of the Billion Followers Summit 2026 was launched and will continue for three days under the theme “Meaningful Content.” It is the world’s largest summit in the content industry economy.
The summit, sponsored by Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is witnessing the attendance of over 30,000 people and the participation of more than 15,000 content creators and prominent Arab and global influencers, with over 500 speakers who have a combined following of more than 3.5 billion.
The summit is also hosting 150 CEOs and global experts across its sessions and dialogues, offering more than 580 main sessions, roundtables, interactive discussions, and workshops.
