قال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، إن إيران تواصلت مع الولايات المتحدة، واقترحت التفاوض على اتفاق نووي.
جاء ذلك في تصريحات صحفية أدلاها، أمس الأحد،على متن الطائرة الرئاسية، خلال عودته من العطلة الأسبوعية إلى البيت الأبيض.
وأشار ترامب إلى أن إيران “بدأت بتجاوز خطوطها الحمراء”، وذلك على خلفية تحذيراته لها بعدم استهداف المحتجين.
وأضاف أنه يتلقى تقارير “كل ساعة” بشأن الاحتجاجات في إيران، مبينا أنه لن يعلق على “متى أو أين أو كيف” قد تتحرك واشنطن ضد طهران.
وانتقد ترامب المسؤولين الإيرانيين بالقول: “إنهم ليسوا قادة، بل يحكمون عبر العنف. نأخذ هذا الأمر على محمل الجد، والجيش يدرسه، ولدينا خيارات قوية للغاية مطروحة على الطاولة”.
وحول تواصل طهران مع واشنطن للتفاوض بشأن اتفاق نووي، قال إنها تواصلت مع الولايات المتحدة قبل يوم.
وأردف: “يمكننا التحدث معهم، ويتم ترتيب لقاء، لكن ما يجري (احتجاجات إيران) قد يفرض علينا التحرك قبل عقد أي اجتماع”.
وفي معرض رده على سؤال بشأن عدم امتلاك الشعب الإيراني اتصالا بالإنترنت وانقطاع تواصله مع العالم، قال ترامب إنه يمكنه التحدث مع رجل الأعمال والملياردير الأمريكي إيلون ماسك لإعادة تفعيل الإنترنت داخل البلاد عبر خدمة “ستارلينك”.
وبدأ التجار في السوق الكبير بالعاصمة الإيرانية طهران في 28 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول الماضي احتجاجات على التراجع الحاد في قيمة الريال الإيراني أمام العملات الأجنبية وتفاقم المشكلات الاقتصادية، وتمددت الاحتجاجات لاحقا إلى العديد من المدن.
وأقر الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان، بحالة الاستياء الشعبي، مؤكدا أن الحكومة مسؤولة عن المشاكل الاقتصادية الراهنة، وحث المسؤولين على عدم إلقاء اللوم على جهات خارجية مثل الولايات المتحدة.
** جزيرة غرينلاند
وفيما يخص التطورات المتعلقة بجزيرة غرينلاند، قال ترامب إن عدم حصول بلاده على الجزيرة سيؤدي إلى استحواذ روسيا أو الصين عليها.
وأضاف: “ما دمت رئيسا للولايات المتحدة فلن يحدث ذلك. الوجود العسكري غير كاف، بل يجب امتلاكها”.
وأشار ترامب إلى وجود غواصات وسفن حربية أخرى تابعة لكل من الصين وروسيا في محيط غرينلاند، مؤكدا أنهم لن يسمحوا بذلك.
ومضى قائلا: “سنحصل على غرينلاند بطريقة أو بأخرى”.
وفي رده على سؤال بشأن ما إذا كان السعي الأمريكي لضم غرينلاند قد يؤثر سلبا على وحدة دول حلف شمال الأطلسي (ناتو)، قال ترامب: “هم بحاجة إلينا أكثر مما نحتاج إليهم”.
وتتبع غرينلاند للدنمارك وتتمتع بحكم ذاتي، وتعتبر أكبر جزيرة في العالم، ولها موقع مركزي في منطقة القطب المتجمد الشمالي، التي تكتسب أهمية متزايدة نظرا لذوبان الجليد بسبب أزمة المناخ وفتح طرق تجارية جديدة.
وتقع غرينلاند، إحدى المنطقتين المتمتعتين بالحكم الذاتي في مملكة الدنمارك، إضافة إلى جزر فارو، على بعد أكثر من 2900 كيلومتر عن الدنمارك.
ولدى سؤاله عن مقتل سيدة أمريكية داخل سيارتها، برصاص عناصر شرطة الهجرة والجمارك في مدينة مينيابوليس بولاية مينيسوتا شمالي الولايات المتحدة، قال ترامب إن الضحية تصرفت بشكل “غير محترم للغاية” تجاه عناصر إنفاذ القانون.
وادعى أن السيدة الأمريكية وصديقتها “كانتا مثيرات شغب محترفات”.
والأربعاء الماضي، أظهرت مقاطع متداولة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، التقطه مواطنون كانوا يحاولون توثيق عمليات شرطة الهجرة والجمارك بهواتفهم المحمولة، أن السيدة كانت داخل سيارتها في وسط الطريق تراقب ما يجري، قبل أن يحاول أحد عناصر الشرطة فتح باب السيارة بالقوة.
وبعد اقتراب عنصر آخر من مقدمة السيارة، حاولت السائقة الفرار بالانعطاف بالمقود، ليقوم الشرطي بإشهار سلاحه وإطلاق ثلاث طلقات من مسافة قريبة.
وأظهر المقطع المصوَّر أن المواطنين الذين وثّقوا الحادثة صرخوا في وجه عناصر شرطة الهجرة والجمارك، مردّدين “اخجلوا، اخجلوا”.
كما شوهدت محاولات لتقديم الإسعافات الأولية للضحية بعد أن توقفت مركبتها إثر اصطدامها بسيارات كانت متوقفة على جانب الطريق.

US President Donald Trump stated that Iran has contacted the United States and proposed negotiating a nuclear deal.
This came during press remarks he made on Sunday aboard Air Force One while returning from a weekend break to the White House.
Trump noted that Iran “has begun crossing its red lines,” following his warnings to Iran not to target protesters.
He added that he receives reports “every hour” about the protests in Iran, clarifying that he would not comment on “when, where, or how” Washington might act against Tehran.
Trump criticized Iranian officials, saying: “They are not leaders; they rule through violence. We take this very seriously, the military is studying it, and we have very strong options on the table.”
Regarding Tehran’s contact with Washington to negotiate a nuclear deal, he said they contacted the United States the day before.
He continued: “We can talk to them, and a meeting can be arranged, but what is happening (protests in Iran) may force us to act before any meeting is held.”
In response to a question about the Iranian people lacking internet access and being cut off from the world, Trump said he could speak with American businessman and billionaire Elon Musk to reactivate internet service inside the country via “Starlink.”
Protests began among merchants in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar on December 28 last year against the sharp decline in the value of the Iranian rial against foreign currencies and worsening economic problems. The protests later spread to many cities.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian acknowledged popular discontent, emphasizing that the government is responsible for current economic problems and urging officials not to blame external parties like the United States.
** Greenland
Regarding developments related to Greenland, Trump said that if his country does not acquire the island, Russia or China will take it.
He added: “As long as I am President of the United States, that will not happen. Military presence is not enough; we must own it.”
Trump pointed to the presence of submarines and other warships from both China and Russia around Greenland, stressing that they would not allow that.
He went on to say: “We will get Greenland one way or another.”
In response to a question about whether the US pursuit of annexing Greenland might negatively affect the unity of NATO countries, Trump said: “They need us more than we need them.”
Greenland is part of Denmark and enjoys self-rule. It is the world’s largest island and holds a central position in the Arctic region, which is gaining increasing importance due to ice melting from the climate crisis and the opening of new trade routes.
Greenland, one of the two autonomous regions of the Kingdom of Denmark, along with the Faroe Islands, is located more than 2,900 kilometers away from Denmark.
When asked about the killing of an American woman inside her car by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Trump said the victim acted in a “very disrespectful” manner towards law enforcement officers.
He claimed that the American woman and her friend “were professional rioters.”
Last Wednesday, clips circulating on social media, recorded by citizens trying to document ICE operations with their mobile phones, showed the woman inside her car in the middle of the road watching the events before one officer attempted to force open the car door.
After another officer approached the front of the car, the driver tried to flee by turning the steering wheel, prompting the officer to draw his weapon and fire three shots at close range.
The recorded clip showed the citizens documenting the incident shouting at the ICE officers, chanting “Shame, shame.”
Attempts to provide first aid to the victim were also seen after her vehicle stopped following a collision with cars parked on the side of the road.
