فشلت هيئة أبحاث الفضاء الهندية (ISRO)، الاثنين، في إطلاق مهمة “PSLV-C62” إلى المدار، بسبب خلل تم رصده في المرحلة الثالثة من الإطلاق.
وذكرت تقارير في الصحافة الهندية أن الصاروخ الذي يبلغ وزنه نحو 260 طنا، تم إطلاقه من جزيرة سريهاريكوتا عند الساعة 10:17 بالتوقيت المحلي.
وأوضحت التقارير أن المرحلتين الأولى والثانية من الصاروخ، إضافة إلى عملية الانفصال، تمت وفق الخطة المقررة، غير أنه في المرحلة الثالثة انقطع الاتصال بين الصاروخ ومركز التحكم بالمهمة، ما حال دون وضعه في مداره المحدد.
وكان من المقرر إطلاق ما مجموعه 16 قمرا صناعيا إلى المدار في إطار مهمة “PSLV-C62″، إلا أن فشل المهمة أدى إلى فقدان جميع هذه الأقمار.
وبهذا تكون الهند قد فشلت في أول إطلاق فضائي لها خلال عام 2026.
وفي تدوينة لها عبر منصة شركة “إكس” الأمريكية، قالت هيئة أبحاث الفضاء الهندية إن مهمة “PSLV-C62” واجهت خللا في الجزء الأخير من مرحلة الإطلاق، مشيرة إلى أنه تم فتح تحقيق مفصل للوقوف على ملابسات الحادث.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) failed on Monday to launch the “PSLV-C62” mission into orbit due to a malfunction detected in the third stage of the launch.
Reports in the Indian press indicated that the rocket, weighing about 260 tons, was launched from Sriharikota Island at 10:17 local time.
The reports explained that the first and second stages of the rocket, in addition to the separation process, proceeded according to plan. However, during the third stage, communication between the rocket and the mission control center was lost, preventing it from being placed into its designated orbit.
A total of 16 satellites were scheduled to be launched into orbit as part of the “PSLV-C62” mission, but the mission failure led to the loss of all these satellites.
This marks India’s first failed space launch in 2026.
In a post on the American platform “X” (formerly Twitter), the Indian Space Research Organization stated that the “PSLV-C62” mission encountered a malfunction in the final part of the launch stage, noting that a detailed investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the incident.
