أعلنت سلطنة عمان، مساء الثلاثاء، اختتام المفاوضات غير المباشرة بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران بإحراز “تقدم جيد”.
ورعت سلطنة عمان هذه الجولة من المفاوضات في مدينة جنيف السويسرية، بعد جولة سابقة في الدولة الخليجية.
وقال وزير الخارجية العماني بدر البوسعيدي، عبر منصة شركة “إكس” الأمريكية: اختُتمت اليوم المفاوضات غير المباشرة بين الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في جنيف”.
وأضاف أن المفاوضات أحرزت “تقدما جيدا نحو تحديد الأهداف المشتركة والقضايا الفنية ذات الصلة”.
وتابع: “اتسمت اجتماعاتنا بروح بناءة، حيث بذلنا معا جهودًا جادة لوضع عدد من المبادئ التوجيهية للتوصل إلى اتفاق نهائي”.
و”لا يزال هناك الكثير من العمل الذي يتعين القيام به، وقد غادر الطرفان الاجتماع بخطوات واضحة قبل الاجتماع القادم”، بحسب البوسعيدي دون ذكر تاريخ.
وزاد بأن مساهمة المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية رافائيل غروسي في المفاوضات حظيت بـ”تقدير كبير”.

The Sultanate of Oman announced on Tuesday evening the conclusion of the indirect negotiations between the United States and Iran, stating that “good progress” had been achieved.
Oman sponsored this round of negotiations in the Swiss city of Geneva, following a previous round held in the Gulf state.
Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said on the American platform “X”: “Today, the indirect negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America concluded in Geneva.”
He added that the talks achieved “good progress toward identifying shared objectives and the related technical issues.”
He continued: “Our meetings were characterized by a constructive spirit, as we jointly made serious efforts to establish a number of guiding principles aimed at reaching a final agreement.”
“There is still much work to be done, and both sides left the meeting with clear steps ahead of the next session,” Albusaidi noted, without specifying a date.
He also added that the contribution of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, to the negotiations was “highly appreciated.”
