شددت الإمارات، الأحد، على أنها لا تسعي للانجرار إلى أي صراعات أو تصعيد.
جاء ذلك في بيان للخارجية الإماراتية عقب مزاعم إعلامية إسرائيلية عن شن أبو ظبي هجوما على منشأة لتحلية المياه في إيران.
وقالت الوزارة، في البيان، إن الإمارات في “حالة دفاع في مواجهة الاعتداء الإيراني الغاشم وغير المبرر”.
وأوضحت أن هذا الاعتداء “شمل إطلاق أكثر من 1400 صاروخ باليستي وطائرة مسيّرة استهدفت البنية التحتية ومواقع مدنية، ما أدى إلى سقوط قتلى وجرحى من المدنيين”.
وتابعت أن ما يحدث “يمثّل خرقا جسيما للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وانتهاكا لسيادة الدولة وسلامة أراضيها، وتهديدا مباشرا لأمنها واستقرارها”.
الإمارات قالت إنها “لا تسعى إلى الانجرار إلى أي صراعات أو تصعيد”.
وشددت على “احتفاظها بكامل حقها في اتخاذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية سيادتها وأمنها الوطني وسلامة أراضيها”.
وفي وقت سابق الأحد، نفى رئيس لجنة شؤون الدفاع بالمجلس الوطني الاتحادي الإماراتي علي النعيمي صحة مزاعم إعلامية إسرائيلية عن شن بلاده هجوما على إيران.
وقال النعيمي، عبر منصة شركة “إكس” الأمريكية: “هذا خبر كاذب. عندما نفعل شيئا ما، نتحلى بالشجاعة لإعلانه”.
والأحد، نقلت القناة 15 العبرية (خاصة) عن مصادر إسرائيلية وصفتها بالمطلعة ولم تسمها زعمها إن “الإمارات هاجمت محطة لتحلية المياه في إيران”.
وهو ما تداولته وسائل إعلام عبرية، بينها هيئة البث الرسمية، على نطاق واسع.
وزعمت الهيئة أنه “في إسرائيل، أكدوا اليوم أن الإمارات شنت هجوما على أهداف إيرانية للمرة الأولى”.
وتشن إيران هجمات على ما تقول إنها قواعد ومصالح أمريكية بدول الخليج والعراق والأردن، لكن بعضها أسقط قتلى وجرحى وأضر بأعيان مدنية، وهو ما أدانته الدول العربية المستهدفة، مطالبة بوقف الاعتداءات.
ومنذ فجر 28 فبراير/ شباط الماضي، تنفذ إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة عدوانا عسكريا على إيران، قتل ما لا يقل عن 1332 شخصا، بينهم المرشد الأعلى علي خامنئي ومسؤولون أمنيون.
وترد طهران كذلك بإطلاق صواريخ ومسيَّرات باتجاه إسرائيل، ما أدى إلى مقتل ما لا يقل عن 13 شخصا وإصابة 1929، بالإضافة إلى هجمات أخرى قتلت 6 جنود أمريكيين وأصابت 18.
وتتعرض إيران للعدوان رغم إحرازها تقدما بالمفاوضات مع الولايات المتحدة بشأن البرنامج النووي بشهادة الوسيط العماني، وهذه هي المرة الثانية التي تنقلب فيها إسرائيل على طاولة التفاوض، وفي الأولى بدأت حرب يونيو/ حزيران 2025.
وتتهم واشنطن وتل أبيب طهران بامتلاك برنامجي نووي وصاروخي يهددان إسرائيل ودولا إقليمية صديقة للولايات المتحدة، بينما تقول إيران إن برنامجها النووي سلمي ولا تسعى إلى إنتاج أسلحة نووية.

The UAE stressed on Sunday that it does not seek to be drawn into any conflicts or escalation.
This came in a statement by the UAE Foreign Ministry following Israeli media allegations that Abu Dhabi launched an attack on a water desalination facility in Iran.
The ministry said in the statement that the UAE is in a “state of defense in the face of the brutal and unjustified Iranian aggression.”
She explained that this attack “included the launching of more than 1,400 ballistic missiles and drones that targeted infrastructure and civilian sites, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.”
She added that what is happening “represents a grave violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, a violation of the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a direct threat to its security and stability.”
The UAE said that it “does not seek to be drawn into any conflicts or escalation.”
It stressed that it “reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity.”
Earlier on Sunday, Ali Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense Affairs Committee of the UAE Federal National Council, denied the validity of Israeli media allegations about his country launching an attack on Iran.
Al-Nuaimi said, on the American “X” company platform: “This is fake news. When we do something…Yes, we have the courage to announce it.”
On Sunday, the Hebrew Channel 15 (privately) quoted Israeli sources, which it described as informed but did not name, claiming that “the UAE attacked a water desalination plant in Iran.”
This was widely reported by Hebrew media, including the official broadcasting authority.
The authority claimed that “in Israel, they confirmed today that the UAE launched an attack on Iranian targets for the first time.”
Iran launches attacks on what it says are American bases and interests in the Gulf states, Iraq and Jordan, but some of them have caused deaths and injuries and damaged civilian objects, which the targeted Arab countries have condemned, demanding an end to the attacks.
Since the dawn of February 28, Israel and the United States have carried out a military aggression against Iran, killing at least 1,332 people, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and security officials.
Tehran also responded by launching missiles and drones towards Israel, killing at least 13 people and wounding 1,929, in addition to other attacks that killed 6 American soldiers and wounded 18.
Iran is being exposed to aggression despite making progress in negotiations with the United States regarding the nuclear program, with the testimony of the Omani mediator, and this is the second time…In which Israel turns to the negotiating table, and in the first, the June 2025 war begins.
Washington and Tel Aviv accuse Tehran of possessing nuclear and missile programs that threaten Israel and regional countries friendly to the United States, while Iran says that its nuclear program is peaceful and does not seek to produce nuclear weapons.
