النواب الأمريكي يرفض مشروع قرار لتقييد حرب ترامب على إيران

رفض مجلس النواب الأمريكي، الخميس، مشروع قانون “صلاحيات الحرب” الهادف إلى إخضاع هجمات الرئيس دونالد ترامب على إيران لموافقة الكونغرس.
وصوت 212 نائبا في مجلس النواب (المجلس الأدنى في الكونغرس) لصالح مشروع القرار، مقابل 219 صوتا رافضا، وفق مراسل الأناضول.
وبذلك، لم يُقبل مشروع القانون الذي قدَّمه النائب الجمهوري توماس ماسي والنائب الديمقراطي رو خانا، والذي كان يهدف إلى منع ترامب من اتخاذ أي إجراء عسكري ضد إيران دون موافقة الكونغرس.
والأربعاء، رفض مجلس الشيوخ (المجلس الأعلى في الكونغرس) مشروع قانون مماثل طُرح بهدف الحدِّ من هجمات ترامب على إيران.
ومنذ 28 فبراير/شباط الماضي، تشن إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة هجمات على إيران، أودت بحياة مئات الأشخاص، على رأسهم المرشد علي خامنئي ومسؤولون أمنيون، فيما ترد طهران بإطلاق رشقات صاروخية ومسيرات باتجاه إسرائيل.
وترد طهران بشن هجمات على ما تصفها بأنها “مصالح أمريكية” بدول عربية، خلفت قتلى وجرحى وألحقت أضرارا بمرافق مدنية، بينها موانئ ومبان سكنية.

On Thursday, the US House of Representatives rejected a “war powers” bill aimed at subjecting President Donald Trump’s attacks on Iran to Congress’ approval.
212 representatives in the House of Representatives (the lower house of Congress) voted in favor of the draft resolution, compared to 219 who voted against, according to Anadolu’s correspondent.
Thus, the bill submitted by Republican Representative Thomas Massie and Democratic Representative Ro Khanna, which was intended to prevent Trump from taking any military action against Iran without the approval of Congress, was not accepted.
On Wednesday, the Senate (the upper house of Congress) rejected a similar bill proposed with the aim of limiting Trump’s attacks on Iran.
Since February 28, Israel and the United States have launched attacks on Iran, which have claimed the lives of hundreds of people, led by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and security officials, while Tehran responds by launching missile launches and marches towards Israel.
Tehran responded by launching attacks on what it describes as “American interests” in Arab countries, which left deaths and injuries and caused damage to civilian facilities, including ports and residential buildings.
